What do we think:
This is a top-rated product for teaching beginners, unfortunately hidden behind a somewhat graphically challenged website. Ignoring the website – the course itself is good: It has very few pretensions and makes few promises – but it steadily delivers everything it does promise. Strictly for beginners, the 48 page eBook teaches guitar basics in a clear and easy to follow manner. The eBook’s ten lessons contain embedded links to 23 short audio clips used to demonstrate how the chords and some basic guitar tricks sound like (don’t look for separate sound files – they’re all embedded in the book). The book is fun to use, logically arranged and very clear. Like the other courses in our top-five, it enables you to start playing songs very quickly. However, unlike the others, Learn Guitar Quick only focuses on teaching beginners and does not attempt to take you into more advanced subjects. Its last 5 pages, however, attempt to guide you on how to teach yourself – a nice feature for a basic course.

The Guitar Buying Guide is a very short eBook, which you’ll find useful if you’re buying your first guitar. If you already bought a guitar or have some experience playing – you won’t benefit much from it, but it’ll still be an entertaining read (however, if you have some experience playing you’ll probably need a more advanced course anyway).

With its single eBook format and beginners only attitude, the program can be no match for Learn and Master Guitar, Jamorama, or even for the Guitar Scales Mastery course. However, most testers agreed that Learn Guitar Quick was very effective in teaching beginner guitar, and it is by far the least expensive top-rated product.
